Blinding Hezbollah another way: IDF strikes dozens of intelligence gathering sites

The IDF reports that it just struck multiple sites used by Hezbollah to gather and process intelligence on Israel and the IDF.

Today (Wednesday), the IDF struck 60 Hezbollah intelligence related targets throughout Lebanon, with the guidance of IDF intelligence.

The strikes destroyed intelligence-gathering tools, command centers, and additional infrastructure used by the enemy to build an intelligence situational assessment.

In what may be hinting towards what lies ahead, the overwhelming majority of the targets struck by the IDF were in the southern Lebanon area, with only a few in the Bekaa and one in the Mount Lebanon area.

If Israel intends to launch a ground incursion, "blinding" Hezbollah's ability to gather intelligence in the area would be one of the necessary steps before doing so.

In the shadow of the intense attacks that the IDF is launching in Lebanon, the Northern Command Chief, Major General Uri Gordin, visited the commanders and fighters of the 7th Brigade yesterday during their brigade exercise on the northern border, examined their readiness, and conducted an operational situation assessment with them.

During the visit, the Major General emphasized the importance of the forces' preparedness and readiness to change the security situation and return the residents of the north to their homes.

In a conversation with the commanders, Gordin emphasized: "We have entered a different phase in the campaign, and we are in the midst of Operation 'Northern Arrows'. The operation began with a very significant hit to Hezbollah's capabilities, focusing on their fire capabilities, and a very significant hit to the organization's commanders and personnel. In response to this, we need to change the security situation, we need to be very strongly prepared for entering into maneuver and action."
