Several communities in Israel's Lower Galilee region experienced alert sirens, with some areas hearing them for the first time since October. The incident resulted in one casualty, as a 28-year-old man was seriously injured by shrapnel.

9:58 AM: Alerts were sounded in and around Tiberias, including the Kinneret Industrial Zone, Beit Rimon, Uzeir, Avtalion, and several other nearby communities.

10:17 AM: Authorities reported that despite the alerts, no widespread damage or casualties had been reported. However, several impacts were identified near Tiberias.

10:26 AM: A 28-year-old man was seriously injured by shrapnel. Magen David Adom (MDA) paramedics David Fahima and Aviad Amar responded to the scene. They stated, "We met with the injured man who was fully conscious and suffering from shrapnel injuries. We provided medical treatment and evacuated him in an MDA intensive care ambulance to the hospital, where his condition is serious but stable."

The injured man was taken to the Northern Medical Center (Poria) for treatment.

Footage shared on social media showed interceptions over the Sea of Galilee, though the exact nature of these interceptions was not specified in the report.

Authorities continue to monitor the situation closely. Residents in the affected areas are advised to stay alert and follow any instructions from local emergency services.
