Elon Musk is no longer ranked by Forbes the richest man in the world, having been knocked out of the top stop by the owner of Louis Vuitton, according to reporting by Globes.

Musk's problems stem from unclear reports for the company's profitability in 2024 and his own announcement that he seeks to recapture 25% of the company's shares to prevent a hostile takeover, both of which have led to the stock to not go high enough for Musk to retain the top spot.

Musk, now ranked second, is followed on the list by Amazon owner Jeff Bezos, Oracle owner Larry Ellison, Meta owner Marc Zuckerberg, and Berkshire Hathaway owner Warren Buffet.
