Despite the strains of war on Israel's economy, including cancelled flights, a trade war with Turkey, and reservists fighting on two fronts, Israel's Central Bureau of Statistics reports the unemployment rate has decline, according to Globes.

According to ICBS data, the rate of unemployment published today (Monday) declined from 2.7% in September to 2.5% in October. The number of overall unemployed, including those furloughed or in the reserves, has also declined to 3.4% or 151,000 - a decline of 20,000 of the non-working population.

Calcalist previously reported that Israel's growth rate in the third quarter has rebounded following a very anemic second quarter, even though 2024 is still witnessing a slower growth rate than in comparable quarters in 2023.
