Four female students from a college in the north were arrested last night (Saturday), on suspicion of inciting and supporting the terrorist organization Hamas.
During the activity, the police officers of the northern district and a reserve Border Police battalion raided the homes of the 4 female students (Yafia, Iksal, Uzair and Nazareth) who were arrested and brought to the crime fighting unit in the valleys area for questioning.
Their arrest was carried out alongside increased operational preparation and a determined and uncompromising handling of detection of incitement/support for terrorism.
In one of the publications of one of the suspects a photo of a terrorist carrying a kidnapped girl on a jeep can be seen and it was noted: "I wanted to be excited by the photo, but it is nothing compared to what the occupation is doing in Gaza."
In another suspect's publication, she shared a photo of a newspaper that read: "Tsunami Al-Aqsa on October 7", together with an emoji of a heart and a Palestinian flag.
The 4 suspects are being interrogated at this time and will come to the Magistrate's Court in Nazareth at the request of the police to extend their detention.
In another operation tonight, an 18-year-old resident of Kfar Kana was arrested, suspected of publishing incitement and support for terrorism. At the end of his interrogation, the suspect will be brought to court at the request of the police to extend his detention.
The police said: "The Israel Police will continue to work to locate and deal with instigators of violence and acts of terrorism, and those who sympathize with terrorism and praise these acts during wartime, in the spaces of the social network and anywhere else."
