A vehicle belonging to the Prison Service was set on fire today (Tuesday) in the early morning hours in Bat Yam. After a brief examination, it was revealed that the burnt vehicle belongs to the Nahshon Unit. The police have initiated an investigation into the incident, suspecting deliberate arson.
It should be noted that over the past few months, two additional vehicles have been set on fire, and a vehicle belonging to the Nahshon Unit, considered the operational arm of the Prison Service, has been targeted. The unit is responsible for prisoner escort and serves as the security and intervention force of the correctional facilities.
