Anti-Zionism, Anti-Semitism, Europe

This city in Europe has anti-Zionist traffic lights

The traffic light in question is located where all the tourist buses pass by.

An Israeli tourist, Y., who came this week to visit Lisbon, Portugal, discovered that one of the traffic lights in the city center had lights that flashed slogans against the State of Israel and in favor of Gaza.

The green light reads "FREE GAZA", and the red light "STOP ISRAEL." According to Y, this is a traffic light at a major intersection where all the tourist buses pass by to pick people up.

"It was just like an arrow in my heart, because the traffic light is located where all the tourist buses go to pick them up. This is the first traffic light you encounter. I asked to stop the bus, got out and filmed it. I couldn't continue the trip," Y. told Mako.

He added: "There were some Israelis with us who were in shock. I imagine that someone from the municipality did it, and the goal was that every tourist whose bus stops at this traffic light will see what it says. It ruined our whole trip."

Portugal in general and Lisbon in particular are very beloved by Israelis, and it was the first country in the world to encourage descendants of Jews expelled from it in the 15th century to apply for national passports. Over the years, quite a few Israelis have taken advantage of this opportunity.
