Rabbi Shmuel Rabber, head of the 'Otzar HaTorah' Yeshiva in Jerusalem, passed away last night (Sunday) at the age of 74 after battling a severe illness.

Rabbi Rabber was considered one of the great heads of Lithuanian yeshivas and dedicated his life to teaching Torah and educated thousands of students over the years.

Rabbi Rabber's funeral took place yesterday afternoon (Monday). The funeral procession left from the yeshiva hall in the Ramot neighborhood of Jerusalem towards Har HaMenuchot cemetery.

Many of his students, colleagues, and family members participated in the funeral to pay their last respects.

Rabbi Rabber was known for his unique approach to teaching and the warm relationship he created with his students. He was considered an expert in the field of Torah education for young people, and many yeshiva heads used to consult with him on matters of education and teaching.

Until his last days, Rabbi Rabber continued his educational activities. Last Thursday, just days before his passing, he even participated in the bris of his grandson, which was held in the hospital.
