Major: Ben Shapiro-Douglas Murray show, tickets sold out

The hottest ticket in Jerusalem? The Douglas Murray-Ben Shapiro tour

Tuesday's sold-out Freedom of Zion Conference in Jerusalem has sparked a frenzy among fans desperate for tickets to see conservative media giants Douglas Murray and Ben Shapiro discuss Israel’s wartime strategy and future prosperity. It’s the kind of buzz that would typically surround a Taylor Swift concert, but this time, the fervour is for two outspoken defenders of Israel.

Social media platforms, especially Facebook’s Secret Jerusalem page, have been flooded with pleas for "miracle tickets" to the event, where the two conservative stars will appear together for a high-profile talk. Neither Shapiro, a well-known American conservative commentator and media host, nor Murray, a British author and prominent Israel advocate, are known for musical talents. Yet, their vocal support for Israel and their fierce opposition to online anti-Israel sentiment have made them rock stars in the pro-Israel community.

“Trying one more time. Looking for one ticket to the Ben Shapiro/Douglas Murray event in Jerusalem Tuesday evening. Willing to pay well over face value. Please DM me,” one user posted on the Secret Jerusalem page. Another added, “Anyone have tickets to sell to the Douglas Murray/Ben Shapiro event at Binyanei Hauma tomorrow night? Please PM me.”

Scalpers are likely to cash in outside the Binyanei Hauma Arena ahead of their joint appearance at the sold-out event, which will be held as part of the Freedom of Zion Conference. The event, sponsored by Herut, The Center for Israeli Liberty, aims to celebrate the resilience of the Israeli people and lay the foundation for Israel’s post-war renewal and prosperity.

The evening promises to feature a spirited discussion on “the spirit and strategy of Israel’s fighting forces” and a vision for the country’s future. Expect a charged atmosphere, with enthusiastic standing ovations and possibly even the exchange of friendship bracelets among the crowd.
