An explosion occurred near the Israeli embassy in Denmark on Monday, the anniversary of the October 7th massacre carried out by the Hamas. The explosion occurred about 500 meters from the diplomatic mission in Copenhagen, and just five days after two explosions occurred nearby, apparently as a result of hand grenades being thrown.

"We are obviously investigating whether there could be a connection to the incident that occurred a few days ago," said local police inspector Taryn Mueller. But she clarified that at the moment there was no indication that this was the case, adding that the explosion may have been caused by gunfire at the embassy.

According to the Swedish intelligence agency SÄPO, Iran may have directed the terrorists to the Danish embassy. The agency's chief of operations, Frederick Hallström, said: "There are a number of things that could lead us in the direction of Iranian involvement.

On Tuesday last week, police in Denmark announced that they had arrested three people suspected of involvement in the explosions that took place this morning in the Hellerup area near Copenhagen, Denmark. The explosions were apparently directed at the Israeli embassy in the area. There are also a number of embassies of other countries in the area.

Police said they were investigating whether there was a possible connection between the explosions and the war currently being waged between Israel and the terrorist groups, according to broadcaster DR. No injuries were reported following the explosions. "Due to two explosions. No one was hurt, and we are conducting preliminary investigations at the scene," Copenhagen police said in a tweet on social network X.
