Israeli director defends dropping "terrorist" label for Hamas

Yariv Mozer explains BBC deal on October 7 documentary about Nova festival massacre.

We Will Dance Again, a documentary offering a detailed, minute-by-minute recounting of the October 7 Hamas massacre at the Nova music festival, is set to air on the BBC. However, it will not refer to Hamas as a terrorist organization, according to Israeli director Yariv Mozer, who disclosed this decision in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter.

Mozer explained that this concession was part of an agreement to ensure the British public could witness the atrocities depicted in the film and make their own judgments.

In March, it was announced that the BBC would broadcast and co-produce the documentary. "It was a price I was willing to pay so that the British public will be able to see these atrocities and decide if this is a terrorist organization or not," Mozer said.
