Yad Vashem Chairman, Dani Dayan, criticized the Israeli ambassador to the United Nations, Gilad Erdan, for his decision to wear a yellow star badge at the UN. Dayan said, "You are demeaning the Holocaust! The yellow badge symbolizes the helplessness of the Jewish people, and that is not the situation today."
