"Do I have to kill Jews?" Surfers respond to UNRWA job ad

Against the background of the widespread uproar surrounding ties between UNRWA employees with the Hamas terrorist group and their participation in the Oct. 7 massacre, the UNRWA agency published a LinkedIn ad announcing the recruitment of new employees for the aid agency. In the notice of requirements it was stated that staff members should "meet high standards of neutrality and integrity" and demonstrate "respect and commitment to human rights."

Internet surfers were quick to respond, and in a short time came up with a host of amusing comments blasting the "neutrality" of the organization under the guise of being interested in the position.

"Will I get a bonus if I participate in the massacre?" asked one of the surfers. Another wondered "Do you teach to kill people or do you need a diploma?", and others asked "Do I have to kill Jews" - receiving the supposed response that, "it depends on the context", alluding to the famous response of the now-former Harvard University president who refused to condemn anti-Semitism on college campuses in the U.S.

Other surfers presented additional requirements for positions at UNRWA, including "a degree in tunneling and construction", "experience with weapons and explosives", and "high level anti-Semitism". The job is also said to include "special trips, including violent raids into neighboring countries."
