The presenter of the program "The Patriots" Yinon Magal responds to the storm on Channel 14, following the dismissal of Ari Shamai, and says that if anyone believes that viewers will now switch from Channel 14 to Channel 12, they are wrong.

As mentioned, last night, Ari Shamai stated that it is time to release the assassin of Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin - Yigal Amir.

Shamai referred to the decision of the Tiberias District Court, during which the court rejected the candidacy of Boaz Yosef for the position of city mayor, and said: "I am glad to hear one sentence - that the Supreme Court and the High Court oppose personal laws - if so, then it's time to release the assassin Yigal Amir because personal laws were also enacted against him."

Magal, as mentioned, responded to the storm and said: "Any unnecessary slip of the tongue will never make any viewer return to Channel 12."

Magal added: "Just a reminder that regarding 'these Haredim suck our blood,' Channel 12 not only didn't fire Galit Gutman, but they didn't even suspend her for a minute. For those who talk about incitement channels and with support from the management."

It should be noted that Shavit's remarks received applause from the audience in the studio; however, the presenter Yinon Magal disagreed with the statements.

Channel Now 14 reported: "The severe statements made by Ari Shamai reflect his opinion only. Due to the severity of the remarks, Mr. Shamai will no longer be invited to appear on the channel's programs."
