El Al has announced it will give away 10,000 free plane tickets to IDF soldiers - enlisted, regular, and reservists - who served at least thirty days since the war began, according to a report by Globes.

Soldiers who present a valid military ID, a record of their service and are registered or newly registered for the airline's frequent flier program will be eligible.

The destinations for free tickets are all inside Europe: Zurich, Sofia, Vienna, Saloniki, Paphos, Larnaca, Budapest, Bucharest, and Athens.

El Al, Israel's national airline, has been one of the few to provide continuous service to and from the country since the war began, with many foreign airlines only beginning to slowly return to Ben Gurion Airport, and many staying away until further notice.
