WhatsApp continues to upgrade. However, this time with an upgrade that should have happened a long time ago. From now on, when you update the application, you'll be able to send videos in high quality. While the video quality used to be 480p, now you can use the HD option and send videos in 720p quality.
The update comes as a continuation of the latest update in which they introduced the option to send high-quality photos. When sending a photo, a button labeled "HD" appeared at the top of the screen before sending, allowing you to choose the quality of the photo. Now, after the new update, the "HD" button will also appear when sending videos.
However, it's worth noting that the sending option is still limited. Most smartphones currently available on the market have high-capability cameras. Nevertheless, WhatsApp will now allow file sending only in 720p quality.
Another update that will be launched in the coming weeks, as announced by Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg, is that you will be able to create a new group without giving a name to the group. It's not clear to whom this option is important, but it's good to know that it exists.
