It is difficult to assess the situation of Hamas in recent days, especially in light of recent developments and the ceasefire. When you try to understand what Hamas's goal is in the current mess, you probably come to the clear conclusion that the mass murder he committed on October 7th was an unequivocal victory for him and that what happened and has happened since then is, in a sense, just a bonus for him.
Not that this is much new, because it is enough to look at the history of the people of Israel to understand that the conduct of the Arabs around us cannot be explained by any rational explanation. The only explanation is the lust for murder they boast of and a severe hatred for the entire Jewish people.
Yahya Sinwar probably knows Israel better than any commentator on Middle East affairs that has ever arisen. Israel's normalization agreements with various countries, and among them, of course, the future agreement with Saudi Arabia, made him realize that after much silence on his part, it was time to shake the system and cause an uprising on the part of the Arab world.
Biden - the gift that keeps on giving to Sinwar
He just didn't know or at least expect that the big help would come to him precisely from US President Joe Biden. Biden, who started with an emotional speech that swept away many Israelis and included the well-known word: Don't, as a warning sign to the countries neighboring Israel - quickly changed the CD and returned to please the democratic current in the USA.
This morning he wrote on his social networks that Hamas launched a terrorist attack because there is nothing he fears more than Israelis and Palestinians living side by side in peace.
"To continue on the path of terrorism, violence, killing, and war is to give Hamas what they ask for. We cannot do that," Biden wrote.
Israel should say - Enough!
There is no other word but Chutzpah to try to describe what Biden is doing. Although it was clear that Israel is subject to the US in many of its security decisions, and Israel, which is not an empire, understands this very well.
But the difference between one or another intervention in security decisions concerning the war, preventing the opening of another front with Hezbollah in the north, and more, compared to a blatant and rude intervention and an attempt to give a "reward" to the Palestinian Arabs for this barbaric attack - is a disgrace and contempt for the feelings of the people of Israel who experienced a terrible and murderous attack.
Netanyahu stated that he is the only one who will prevent the establishment of a Palestinian state. Although the very existence of the horrible omission in the South during his reign, without going into the details of whether he knew or not (it is his job to know), should cause the end of his career and cast a shadow over the long years of his reign.
But if he only thinks to go in this direction, to which Biden is attracted, and reward the Nazi terrorist organization Hamas, its own country for the murder, rape, and kidnapping of citizens - the shame will haunt him and the people of the right will never forgive him for it.
Yes, Israel owes the USA and yes, Israel often cannot make decisions on its own - but on this issue, we must say - Enough!
