The IDF announced today (Monday) that in Khan Yunis, forces from the 98th Division "Ha-Esh" identified two terrorists loading combat equipment onto a truck. An Air Force aircraft, under the guidance of the Division's fire center, targeted the truck, destroyed the weaponry, and eliminated the terrorists who fled to a nearby structure.
In another site in the city, combat troops from the 7th Division's combat team raided the operational commander of the Hamas terrorist organization in the city's area, seizing rifles, grenades, RPG missiles, and diving equipment belonging to Hamas's naval force.
The IDF also noted that within the past 24 hours, the soldiers destroyed two weapons storage facilities on the ground and from the air, attacked military structures belonging to the Hamas terrorist organization, and discovered weapons, explosives, and even ammunition in a children's room closet in the home of a Hamas terrorist.
In a separate sector in the northern Gaza Strip, IDF observations identified several terrorists in the area where our forces operated. The combined fire of the Northern Division in the Gaza Brigade targeted an air force vehicle, eliminating five terrorists.
