The names of four IDF casualties who fell in the battles yesterday were released for publication and a message was given to their families.
Sergeant Roi Tal, 19 years old, from Kfar Yehoshua, a soldier in the 94th Battalion, Kfir Brigade, fell in battle in the southern Gaza Strip.
Sgt. First-class (res.) David Schwartz z"l, 26 years old, from Elazar, a soldier in the 8219th Engineering Battalion, 551st Brigade, fell in battle in the south of the Gaza Strip.
Sgt. First-Class (res.) Yakir Hexter z"l, 26 years old, from Jerusalem, a soldier in the 8219th Engineering Battalion, 551st Brigade, fell in battle in the southern Gaza Strip.
Sgt. First-Class (res.) Gavriel Bloom z"l, 27 years old, from Beit Shemesh, a soldier in the divisional engineering team of the 36th division, fell in battle in the center of the Gaza Strip.
This brings the number of IDF casualties who fell in the war since October 7 to 514. May their memory be blessed.
6 other fighters were seriously injured
In the battle in which Sgt. First-Class (res.) David Schwartz and Sgt. First-Class (res.) Yakir Hexter were killed - a reservist in the 8219th Engineering Battalion, 551st Brigade, was seriously injured.
In addition, in the battle in which the late Sgt. First-Class (res.) Gavriel Bloom fell - a combat officer and two reservists from the engineering team of the 36th Division were seriously injured.
Also, two reserve officers in the 646th Brigade were seriously injured in the battle in the center of the Gaza Strip.
The fighters were evacuated to receive medical treatment at the hospital and their families were informed.
