Simultaneously, the forces of the 98th Paratroopers Division continue to combat in the Khan Yunis region, eliminating militants and targeting terrorist infrastructures both above and below ground. Combat teams from the 4th Brigade (Kiryati) and 55th Paratroopers Brigade have neutralized numerous militants in the northern and eastern battalions of the Khan Yunis Division, significantly impacting the command and control capabilities of the Hamas terrorist organization in the area.

Among the infrastructures neutralized by the combat team of the 4th Brigade (Kiryati), a tunnel was identified and neutralized, extending for hundreds of meters, where militants from the Nukhba forces were also present, reinforcing the militants of the Khan Yunis Division. With the destruction of the tunnel, five Nukhba militants surrendered themselves to the forces of the 55th Paratroopers Brigade, operating in the area.
According to the IDF spokesperson, in the on-site investigation, the militants revealed that as a result of underground attacks by the combat team of the 4th Brigade (Kiryati), numerous militants were killed, including two battalion commanders from the northern and eastern battalions of the Khan Yunis Division.
