"Today's Deal Is Tomorrow's Hostages"

Former MK Moshe Feiglin raises concerning questions about the alleged upcoming deal, for the exchange of prisoners and abductees, in several tweets on his X account (formerly known as Twitter):

"Today's abductees are a direct result of the release of one abductee - Gilad Shalit - in exchange for Sinwar and 1026 others like him.

Today's deal is tomorrow's hostages.

It's either victory or the hostages.

The decision is in your hands."

The above is just his latest tweet today (Sunday) about the idea of making a deal with the terror organization Hamas releasing terrorist prisoners in exchange for the return of the abductees.

Feiglin has spoken consistently and firmly against any such deal with the terrorist organization Hamas. Already in his first tweet dealing directly with a possible deal for the return of the abductees (from October 28), he wrote:

"The difference between a politician and a leader.

A politician: releases 1,027 terrorists to Gaza for a photo with one freed soldier.

The result was 230 new abductees.

A leader: understands that he must save the thousands of abductees who will be kidnapped if he does not fundamentally change the rules of the game -

And therefore concentrates solely on victory and revenge, and does not in any way allow the question of the abductees to lead the war."

In another tweet from Nov 10th, he wrote:

"Be honest.

Instead of saying 'Return the kidnapped now',

Say - 'We surrender now'.

Because that's the meaning.

The release of 1027 (including Sinwar) in exchange for the return of Shalit, built the entire current Hamas leadership and cost 1400 dead and about 250 kidnapped."

What will be the future price of the 'all for all' deal?

A true leader - calculates the future and pays political prices for it in the present.

Politician - does the present calculation, and leaves the whole bill for his people to pay in the future."

Feiglin has harshly and publicly criticized PM Netanyahu and his government's decisions in the matter of negotiations with terror organizations, especially with Hamas, and even more so now.

Again and again, he raised red flags, and now the decision is still for PM Netanyahu and the Political-Security Cabinet to make.
