Terrorists threw an explosive device in Jerusalem and were arrested

Border Guard soldiers arrested tonight a 23-year-old terrorist who threw Molotov cocktails and an explosive device at the Har Gila neighborhood, and another 18-year-old terrorist who threw an explosive device at the Rachel's Tomb complex about a month ago.

Border Guard soldiers arrested terrorists last night (Monday), who threw Molotov cocktails and an explosive device in the Otaf sector of Jerusalem.

The arrest was carried out as part of an operational activity by the Border Guard soldiers, in light of intelligence information received by the MGB surrounding Jerusalem, about a suspect who threw several times Molotov cocktails at residences in the Har Gila neighborhood in Jerusalem.

During the operation, the forces ambushed the suspect and arrested him using technological capabilities and means. The 23-year-old suspect, a resident of the territories with a work permit in Israel - was arrested and handed over to the Border Guard for further investigation.

Also, in another operation tonight, the MGB fighters acted on an intelligence directive from the Jerusalem Police Command and arrested a suspect who threw an explosive device at the Rachel's Tomb complex about a month ago.

The 18-year-old suspect, a resident of the territories - was transferred to the Border Guard for further investigation.
