MK Ayman Odeh was interviewed this morning (Sunday) on the Knesset channel and said: "We need to defeat not only Netanyahu, but also his policies, the entire Israeli right." He also added: "The occupation is the source of evil, we need to put an end to this criminal occupation."

Odeh said that he must go to the elections quickly: "If we don't go to the elections as soon as possible - it will save Netanyahu and the entire right-wing public in Israel. The only solution is to respect the existence of the Palestinian people, and establish a Palestinian state on the borders of 67."

In the interview, Odeh said that no one wants civilians to die, but it has already happened and now we need to bring to mind that the main issue is the end of the occupation and peace.

"On your behalf for years people have said that maybe it's about the economic issue, maybe it's about one or another hardship, but it's important to understand that it's only the occupation."

Later, he even blamed the legal reform and said that it originated in Zionism: "Ben Gabir the settler, Smotrich the settler, the Ecclesiastical Forum belonging to the settlers, and more. There is a direct connection between damage to democracy and the occupation. Until now all those people who opposed the legal reform said that the occupation is not an important issue - Now it has been proven to be the most important and burning issue."

Odeh is not the only politician from his party to speak out against the State of Israel, Aida Toma Suleiman, a member of the Knesset from the Hadash constituency, posted a tweet last night in which she accused Israel of using a phosphorus bomb at Shifa Hospital in Gaza.

"Operating rooms are bombed, the smell of phosphorus in the air, out of 48 surgeons, 7 remain, live fire on the displaced 'in the humanitarian corridors'. And they still insist here: the 'moral' army in the world does not harm innocents and does not attack hospitals!", she wrote.

Both of them received many reactions attacking them for these words, and several journalists even called for them to be boycotted and to act to remove them from the Israeli Knesset.
