Iranian sources have informed Arabic media that messages delivered to Iran from the United States made unequivocally clear that expansion of the fighting would lead to an American military response. The message comes after a series of Iranian threats against Israel, with Iran warning it would expand the fighting against Israel if it launched a ground action or continued the bombings.
