During a press conference today (Tuesday), the President of France announced that he will come to Israel in the wake of Hamas' terrorist attack on Israel. However, the President did not specify when he will arrive in the region.

The President of France noted that "he will travel to the Middle East when there is a useful agenda and very concrete actions to be taken there."

The President also announced "intensive discussions" for the release of the captives, noting that the price for Hamas's "Operation Al-Aqsa Flood" can only rise.

"The situation of the siege in Gaza is alarming"

Additionally, Macron also discussed the situation in Gaza, where the residents have been under "absolute siege" since October 9, which is becoming more and more concerning.

Macron spoke on the phone with his Iranian counterpart, Ebrahim Raisi, and clarified that it is everyone's duty to unequivocally condemn the terrorist attacks carried out by Hamas in Israel and Israel's right to defend itself. He also emphasized the need to eliminate the terrorist groups that have harmed civilians.

The president also referred to the release of the captives in Gaza, stating that their release is at the top of France's priorities. President Macron cautioned Iran against getting involved in the conflict.
