Despite the War: This is What will Happen Tomorrow in the Knesset

The Knesset will hold the opening session of the winter conference of the 25th Knesset tomorrow. The meeting will be attended by the chairpersons of the Foreign Affairs Committees of the Parliaments of Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia.

Against the backdrop of the fighting in the North and South, the Knesset will hold the opening session of the winter conference of the 25th Knesset tomorrow.

The session, to be held in the Knesset plenum, will open at 4:00 PM with a moment of silence in memory of the casualties of the war and a prayer for the well-being of the IDF soldiers. Additionally, at the entrance to the Knesset building, a memorial corner will be set up for the war casualties. Knesset members will be invited to light a candle and write in a special book in their memory.

The session will be held in the presence of the President of the State, Isaac Herzog, the Knesset Speaker, MK Amir Ohana, the Prime Minister, MK Binyamin Netanyahu, the Leader of the Opposition, MK Yair Lapid, and the Deputy Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, Judge Uzi Fogelman.

The foreign affairs committee members of the legislatures of Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia, Žygimantas Pavilionis, Ričardas Kols, and Marko Mihkelson (respectively), will be present in the Knesset's plenary session to express solidarity with the State of Israel. Additionally, the Knesset will be honored by the presence of dozens of ambassadors from various countries around the world.

Knesset Speaker, Member of Knesset Amir Ohana, will open the session and deliver remarks. Following that, there will be speeches by President of the State Isaac Herzog, Prime Minister Member of Knesset Binyamin Netanyahu, Leader of the Opposition Member of Knesset Yair Lapid, and factional discussions.
