Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu is currently in conversation with U.S. President Joe Biden, following their leaders' discussion yesterday. The president reiterated his unequivocal support for the State of Israel.

Yesterday, the two leaders spoke in the wake of the war in the south, and after the conversation, President Biden issued a statement to the media in which he addressed the situation in Israel. In his remarks, he emphasized the United States' support for Israel and condemned the attacks by Hamas and Palestinian terrorist organizations.

"Today, Israeli civilians were attacked by the terrorist organization Hamas. In moments like this, I want to make it clear to them, to the terrorists, and to the entire world: the United States stands with Israel. We will ensure they have all the assistance they need to defend themselves," he said. "The world has witnessed horrifying images - thousands of rockets fired at Israeli cities, Hamas terrorists roaming the streets of Israel and murdering innocent people.

"Days after Israel marked its holiest day, such an event is unimaginable. I spoke with Prime Minister Netanyahu and made it clear that the United States stands by their side. Israel has the right to defend itself in every way, period," Biden clarified. "Our commitment to Israel is unwavering, and let there be no doubt - the United States stands with Israel. I caution all parties not to seek an opportunity to harm Israel now - the world is watching you. It is time to allow Israel to complete its operation."

"In conclusion," the American President emphasized, "I will remain in close contact with the Prime Minister in the coming days. Israel is under attack today, and the United States will never turn its back on her."
