Rampant violence: a man was shot to death in Umm al-Fahm

The body of a 40-year-old man was found in an abandoned apartment in Umm al-Fahm. Medical teams that arrived at the scene had to pronounce the victim dead on the spot, and the Israel Police began investigating the incident

The violence in the streets of the Arab cities continues unabated and today (Wednesday) the body of a shot man was found inside an abandoned apartment in Umm al-Fahm. MDA medics and paramedics who arrived at the scene reported that they identified the 40-year-old man as lifeless and with signs of violence on his body.

Emergency medicine medic at MDA Muhammad Abu Turabi said: "The wounded man was unconscious and suffered a penetrating injury to his body. We performed medical tests but he was without signs of life and we had no choice but to determine his death."

The Israel Police stated that investigators from the Forensic Identification Laboratory of the Israel Police arrived at the scene and immediately began investigating the circumstances of the case. The police added and noted that all directions of the investigation are being examined.
