During the morning ascent of Jews to the Temple Mount in honor of the Sukkot holiday, the Jews encountered several Muslim rioters who incited and threatened to harm Jews. The Israel Police removed them from the group of Jews and arrested three of the rioters. In addition, several Jews were expelled after bowing down.
In an announcement by the Israel Police, it was stated: "This morning, the police arrested three suspects who called out nationalistic incitement against Jews who had completed their visit to the Temple Mount. Meanwhile, visitors who violated the visitation rules were expelled from the area. The police clarify that anyone who incites, provokes, or violates the visitation rules at the site will be dealt with accordingly."
As part of the visits that took place today, as usual on the Temple Mount, the police operated in accordance with the established visitation rules intended to maintain public order, public peace, and security. This morning, near the Gate of Shalshelet, a group of rioters clashed with visitors who had completed their visit to the Temple Mount while inciting nationalistic provocation. After they did not heed the instructions of the police officers present, they were pushed back, and the police arrested three suspects on the spot who had engaged in the same provocation.

"In recent times," the announcement stated, "we have identified ongoing attempts at incitement on social media while distorting reality. This comes against the backdrop of continued incitement and deception on social networks, and incitement and lies of terrorist organizations and their ilk."
The police spokesperson emphasized: "Let it be clear: there is no change in the current practice on the Temple Mount. The tactics of terrorist organizations, online incitement, and provocations of any kind will not alter anything concerning the Temple Mount. The police will continue to work to ensure security, law, and order at the site. Terrorist organizations have only one interest: to incite violence, create fear, and disrupt the current coexistence between Jews and Muslims by spreading fear, lies, and false propaganda."
