Where is Smotrich? The destruction in the hills is expected to expand

The campaign of destruction in the Binyamin Hills is expected to expand in the coming weeks due to the policy led by the Civil Administration. The forces rush to destroy all the new hills before 90 days have passed since the construction of the buildings.

The destruction in Sde Yonatan

Yesterday (Wednesday) another campaign of destruction was recorded in the hills of Binyamin and this time it is not another casual destruction or a blunder by the commanding general.

The next destination of the Civil Administration: the farm in memory of Harel Masood hy"d

We will explain, according to the law, today it is possible to demolish without notice and with much less bureaucracy, buildings that were built less than 90 days ago. After 90 days have passed since the construction of the buildings on the hill, things get complicated, and in order to evacuate and destroy buildings you need a demolition order and much more bureaucracy that the Civil Administration prefers to save. In the coming weeks, 90 days are expected to pass for the reconstruction of some buildings in Binyamin, therefore the Civil Administration is in a hurry to destroy the hills so that "God forbid" their status will not improve and not a single point where Jews settle will be established.

Therefore, as mentioned, we expect additional evacuations in Samaria and Binyamin in the coming weeks. One of the places that is apparently already marked by the Civil Administration, is the farm that was established in memory of Harel Masood hy"d who fell in the shooting attack in Eli. The farm was destroyed on 7/18 and has since begun to be rebuilt, now, as mentioned, near the end of 90 days since the previous destruction, the Civil Administration is expected to return and destroy.

The powers are with Smotrich and the settlers are furious

We note that in the past, the responsibility for the new buildings belonged to Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, but as far as we know, Minister Smotrich extended his powers to the old buildings as well and since then, such demolitions have to pass with his approval.

We will also note that in the hills they are angry at Smotrich and see him as directly responsible for the campaigns of destruction and the policies led by the Civil Administration which is under his responsibility. Since Minister Gallant and the Likud do not have too many expectations, the anger of the settlers is mainly directed at Ministers Smotrich and Ben-Gvir who made many promises before the elections, which since taking office have remained in the air.

As of this time, Smotrich, whose issue is within his area of responsibility as a minister in the Ministry of Defense, and Ben-Gvir, who spoke a lot against the destruction in the hills during the Bennett government, have yet to comment on the violent evictions that took place yesterday.

The settlers are waiting for answers.
