Today (Wednesday) Iran launched a satellite named Noor 3 into space. According to the announcement of the Iranian Communications Minister, Eisa Zarepour, the satellite entered an orbit 280 miles from the Earth. The launch was carried out from the space center in the city of Shahrud in the north-east of the country by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps. The missile was previously used with the launch of the Noor 2 satellite.

As published about a year ago, the Islamic Republic tried to launch a satellite last year but failed, apparently, cause a rocket exploded during the launch. Also in 2020 and 2021, the satellite launch attempt failed.
