A 60-year-old motorcycle rider was seriously injured today (Tuesday) after being hit by a vehicle on Route 4 near Rishon LeZion. Rescue teams provided him with medical treatment, and he was transferred to the Sheba Medical Center at Tel Hashomer Hospital with injuries to his head and limbs.
A Magen David Adom (MDA) team that arrived at the scene reported: "The rider was lying on the road at a distance from the motorcycle, conscious, and suffering from head and limb injuries. We provided him with medical treatment and evacuated him in an intensive care unit of MDA to the hospital in a severe and stable condition." From the police, it was reported: "The vehicle driver, a resident of Ra'anana, was detained for investigation on suspicion of involvement in a serious road accident on Route 4 near the Moshe Dayan interchange."
Earlier, it was reported about a tractor that overturned on HaRishonim Street in Petah Tikva. Magen David Adom (MDA) paramedics provided medical treatment to a 67-year-old man, and he was evacuated to Beilinson Hospital in moderate and stable condition with a head injury.
Magen David Adom (MDA) paramedics Tehila Gal and David Shushan, along with senior medic from MDA's motorcycle unit, Netanel Engel, reported: "We saw the overturned tractor with a 67-year-old man lying nearby, semi-conscious, and suffering from a head injury. We provided him with medical treatment, including bandaging and stabilization, and evacuated him urgently to the hospital in moderate and stable condition."
