The government will approve tomorrow (Wednesday) the appointment of Minister of Settlements and National Missions Orit Strook as a member of the Rabbinical Judicial Appointments Committee.

In this committee, there are three government members, as required by this law, including the Minister of Religious Affairs, the Minister of Justice, and another minister chosen by the government, provided that at least one of them is a woman.

So far, the Minister of Religious Affairs, Michael Malkieli, has been appointed, and Minister in the Ministry of Justice Dudi Amsalem (in place of Minister Yariv Levin). Now the government will complete its representatives with the inclusion of Minister Strook's membership.

On behalf of the Knesset, two members have already been chosen: opposition member Knesset Member Pnina Tamano-Shata (HaMachane HaMamlachti) and coalition member Knesset Member Eliyahu Baruchi (Torah Judaism).
