After the attack: Yesh Atid's message page against Rabbi Yigal Levinstein

After refusing to condemn the attack on Rabbi Yigal Levinstein, the "Yesh Atid" party actually chose to publish a talking points sheet against the Rabbi himself. In a statement issued today (Wednesday), the party listed all of the rabbi's alleged statements over the years in a variety of areas.

Among other things, the party noted his statements on the issue of the LGBT community. According to them, the rabbi claimed: "These are people who have lost their normality, this group is driving the country crazy and it is entering the army with all its might." They also described his statements towards women: "Your house will be seen according to The woman you choose. If the woman is awesome there will be an awesome house. If the woman wears out, there will be a house in wear and tear."

Regarding their integration into the army, Yesh Atid argued that the rabbi said: "So what if you become a company commander? It's a question of insanity, it belongs in an insane asylum. But this is a religious girl, leave the secular ones. They driving our girls mad, they will recruit them to the army." Regarding the conversion treatments, the party claimed that Levinstein claimed that "we are talking about whole worlds that science has known and treated for years, it is no different from any other treatment. Therefore, it is possible to change, it is possible to help those people, it is possible to help them establish loyal homes in Israel."
