A 20-year-old pedestrian was killed this morning (Wednesday) by a train near the Netanya station. Medical teams that arrived at the scene provided treatment to the injured woman while she was in an unconscious state, but ultimately had to declare her death.
Matanel Dayan and Yaakov Cohen, United Hatzalah paramedics who arrived at the scene, stated: "Firefighting teams worked to extract her body. According to eyewitnesses, she stumbled and fell onto the tracks. Unfortunately, her death was confirmed due to the severity of the injuries she suffered."
