Gilad Erdan Left the Hall

During the Iranian President's speech: Gilad Erdan left the hall

Israel's ambassador to the United Nations, Gilad Erdan, raised during Iran's president Ebrahim Raisi's speech at the UN the image of Mahsa Amini, who was killed by the regime's authorities. According to him: "A lowly murderer who calls for the destruction of Israel is given a platform at the UN"

Israel's ambassador to the UN, Gilad Erdan, walked out in protest last night (between Tuesday and Wednesday) from the UN General Assembly hall during the speech of Iran's President Ebrahim Raisi. The Israeli representative at the United Nations raised the image of Mahsa Amini towards Raisi. Amini, who was killed by the regime's authorities a year ago, ignited a wave of protests in Iran.

Alongside Erdan, the Israeli delegation to the UN also left. According to them: "It is inconceivable that a despicable murderer who calls for the destruction of Israel is given a platform here at the UN. The UN has once again reached moral lows."

"It's a shame that ambassadors stay to listen to a mass murderer"

Ambassador Erdan explained the protest of the Israeli delegation: "While the butcher from Iran is speaking at the UN, and [Raisi] is being honored by the international community, outside, hundreds of Iranians are protesting and calling on the international community to wake up and help them! It is a disgrace that ambassadors remain to listen to a mass murderer.

"It is unacceptable that a bloodstained murderer receives a platform here at the UN. I left the hall to make it clear that the State of Israel stands alongside the Iranian people. I call on the international community to stop the madness and prevent murderers and anti-Semites from speaking here at the UN."
