IDF forces are currently operating (Tuesday) in the Jenin refugee camp. According to reports in the Palestinian media, there was a heavy exchange of fire there, and a number of Palestinians were reported injured.

This is the third activity of the security forces in the refugee camp in the last month, after several months of silence following the "Home and Garden" operation. In the previous activity recorded two weeks ago, Muhammad Ibrahim Eid Ngangia, a Tanzim activist who assisted in the execution of a number of shooting attacks in Judea and Samaria in recent times, was arrested.

Two days before, it was reported that the security forces arrested 3 Hamas operatives in the Jenin refugee camp, including a senior member of the terrorist organization. During the operation, the fighters confiscated an M16 weapon that belonged to one of the arrested activists.

It was also reported that one of the activists arrested is Abdullah Hassan Muhammad Tzubah, a resident of Burqin, a Hamas operative who participated in a series of shooting attacks, bomb attacks, car bombs, and shooting intents on a steep route. Another activist who was arrested is Wared Ashrif, originally from Jenin, who identified with Hamas and was involved in shooting attacks and other terrorist activity with Abdullah Zubach and others. Another wanted person who was arrested is Mu'atsam Jaaitza.
