The opening episode of the 56th season of the American investigative program "60 Minutes" of the CBS network tonight (between Sunday and Monday) dealt with the legal reform in Israel. As part of the program, an interview was held with Shira Etting, one of the leaders of the protest organization 'Brothers in Arms'.

During the interview, Etting said that "If you want pilots to be able to fly and bomb houses knowing that they might kill children, the pilots should have the strongest confidence in the people who make those decisions."

Etting's words caused great shock among the supporters of the reform but also among the left side of the political map, for her statement that pilots should know that they "can kill children".

Ofer Cassif, a member of the Knesset from the Hadash party, wrote on his Twitter account: "The protest of 'Brothers to Arms' and its spokesmen, such as the famous former Shin Bet agent Dvir Kariv, the son of the nationalist center, is not for democracy but for the freedom of action of war criminals while protecting against International law. There is no democracy with the murder of children. There is no democracy with ethnic cleansing and with the erasure of a people and its symbols, there is no democracy with occupation!"

Nir Avishai Cohen, former 'Breaking the Silence' spokesperson, also responded to Etting's words. "A shocking statement by Shira Etting, which points to the fighting ethics of the IDF in the territories. It is forbidden to bomb houses with children. point. It has nothing to do with who is the defense minister and who is the prime minister."

A wave of incitement against the State of Israel has also begun in the world. In the Arab world they repeated their false claims as if Israel was killing children.
