Another attack: A few hours after the reports of an Israeli attack in Syria in which a number of soldiers were killed, Assad's army claimed tonight (Thursday) that the Israeli Air Force attacked the al-Shu'ayirat military airport in the west of the country.

According to the reports in the Syrian media, the Israeli warplanes flew over the coastal plain of Lebanon and launched missiles toward the Homs area. It was also claimed that the air defense system was activated, with most of the missiles launched being intercepted. At the same time, opposition figures in Syria claimed that the target of the attack was a Syrian research institute that produces missiles and chemical weapons.

As mentioned, last night another attack was reported in the area of Tartus in northwestern Syria, which was unusually carried out in the early evening and not during the night. The Syrian Center for Human Rights told the Al-Hadath channel that three Hezbollah operatives were killed in the attack, but at this stage, there is no official verification of the report. At the same time, the Syrian army claimed that two Syrian soldiers were killed and 6 others were wounded in the attack.
