Tel Aviv Mayor Ron Huldai announced today (Tuesday) that starting from the new school year, students of 11th and 12th grades will conduct tours of the government authorities.

In the statement issued by Huldai, he wrote: "It seems that quite a few public figures in Jerusalem have forgotten the lessons of civics from high school. To ensure that this doesn't happen with us, I will make sure that starting from this current year, all 11th and 12th-grade students in Tel Aviv-Yafo will go on tours to the Supreme Court and the Knesset, so that they can better understand the importance of the separation of powers, the rule of law, and an independent judiciary."
