Ravivo Refers to Crime

Likud MK: "Soon the head of a local authority will be murdered here"

Eliyahu Ravivo from the Likud faction demands that an external project manager be appointed to the police, in order to deal with crime in Arab society: "Whoever thinks that it will only stay there - think again. It is already spilling over to the Jewish street"

Against the backdrop of the escalating violence in Arab society, which is also affecting candidates in local authority elections, Knesset member Eliyahu Ravivo (Likud) issued a severe warning: "forecast - soon a head of a local authority will be murdered here."

In a post that Ravivo published, he stated: "We still don't know his identity; we don't even know his origin yet. Yes, he could also be Jewish. He doesn't have to be Arab. He himself still doesn't know that he is the target for elimination. When he knows, it will already be too late for him."

"And no, I'm not just trying to scare. It's simply basic logic: It starts with criminals, moves on to random passersby, continues with family members, reaches a municipal CEO who is murdered near a police station, and now candidates in local elections are being shot from all directions. The next stage: heads of authorities. And anyone who thinks this will stay only with the Arabs – think again. It won't stay there. It is already seeping into the Jewish street. A clear and ominous sign of this, we saw in the mixed cities during the riots of 2021."

"We must appoint an external project manager for the police"

"This is a true emergency. This is not the time for such discussions and others. Even the Arab Knesset members who suddenly express concern for their lives need to understand the gravity of the situation. We must appoint a government-appointed project manager now, an external figure to the police, in order to effectively integrate the fight against crime and violence. No internal police element can do this. The police are too weak, too entangled within themselves, and too constrained by external forces."

Prime Minister Netanyahu reacts to Arab crime

In conclusion, Knesset member Ravivo writes: "Such a project manager could, for instance, enable the Shabak to take swift action while fully leveraging the inherent advantages of the organization. In war, just like in war. And we are now in a war, in which we simply cannot afford to lose."
