Last night (between Wednesday and Thursday), security forces arrested 16 wanted individuals across Judea, Samaria, and the Jordan Valley. In addition, numerous weapons were seized.
According to an IDF spokesperson's statement, the forces operated to suppress terror in the villages of Aqraba, Al-Fawwar, and Azun. The soldiers apprehended several wanted individuals and conducted searches to locate combat materials. In a separate operation in Al-Fawwar, the troops located and seized a hunting rifle, a Carlo-type rifle, a knife, and ammunition. During the arrests, some individuals threw stones at the soldiers, who responded with non-lethal means to disperse the protests and fired warning shots into the air.
During the operation in Azun, suspects threw explosive devices towards the forces, who responded with non-lethal means to disperse the incidents. In the city of Hebron, the soldiers arrested a wanted individual and seized propaganda materials, and in the village of Al-Fawwar, multiple wanted individuals were investigated.
In another sector, in the city of Bethlehem, 2 wanted persons were arrested and an improvised weapon and M-16 weapon parts were confiscated. In the village of Kabatia, the forces arrested three wanted persons, and located and confiscated an airsoft rifle. During the arrests, explosives and stones were thrown at the soldiers.
Two wanted persons were arrested in the Aqabat Jaber refugee camp, a wanted person was arrested in Shukba village, and a gun and ammunition were located and confiscated. During the departure of the forces from the village, Molotov cocktails were thrown at them.
In addition, the IDF forces arrested 7 more wanted persons in the villages of Zita, Shavika, Beit Sahour and Kasba in Nablus. The arrested wanted persons and the confiscated means of warfare were transferred to the security forces for further treatment, there are no casualties among the forces.
