Following the wave of deadly attacks in Judea and Samaria, heads of authorities in Judea and Samaria gathered in front of the Prime Minister's Office and called upon the government and the security system to take actions that will bring security to the residents. They emphasized that the current military operations are insufficient and do not provide a security solution. They demanded from the government and the security system to change the security approach.

"Israel's government must exact a painful and costly toll from the Palestinian Authority," said the head of the Hebron Hills Council, Yochai Damari. "There's an authoritative entity here that initiates and encourages terrorism, pays salaries to the families of the terrorists, incites the streets, and influences its educational system to murder Jews and eradicate the settlements and the State of Israel."

"We won't accept this, and we won't tolerate it. We must treat it as the source of terrorism and demand a very painful price from them that will force them to change direction, and it's better done sooner than later."

Jewish blood is not forfeit

Shlomo Ne'eman, chairman of the Judea and Samaria Council and head of the Gush Etzion Regional Council, added: "We must define the Palestinian Authority, which funds terrorism, educates for terrorism, and organizes terrorism, as an enemy in every sense and be ready for battle, but under no circumstances will we be passive in the long run."

"A mother murdered before the eyes of her family, a father and his child, brothers murdered together, and the list is tragically too long. The IDF, its soldiers, and its commanders know how to get the job done, but a change in approach is necessary. We call upon the government of Israel, led by its head, on one hand to enable unrestricted settlement development, and on the other hand, to engage in a campaign to eradicate the lowly enemy. Jewish blood is not forfeit."

Yossi Dagan, head of the Samaria Regional Council, said that they are ashamed that they have to sit in front of the Prime Minister's Office of a "right-wing government full to the brim." "We support this government, we mobilized thousands of volunteers to ensure the success of this government, and we want it to be strong. But if you don't deliver, we will turn the table, because we have a shared responsibility for your responsibility to bring security to the citizens of the State of Israel in Judea and Samaria and throughout the entire country."

"We demand security for our residents, and we will not compromise on that. The Palestinian Authority is the swamp, Islamic Jihad and Hamas are just the mosquitoes. We demand of the Government of Israel – dry up the swamp. We demand the Government of Israel to reinstate all the security checkpoints today, to impose a curfew on all the murderers' villages, led by Beitah and Nablus."

"We demand an immediate comprehensive military operation, a full Bayit VaGan, throughout all of Judea and Samaria and wherever needed. There's no magic in the war against terror. It worked in the previous round, and it will work now too."

No more settling for small accomplishments by corner-cutting

The head of the Binyamin Regional Council, Yisrael Gantz, is demanding from the government and the security establishment to change their perception. "We stopped everything and came before the Prime Minister's Office to demand a change in the security approach. The focus on chasing after a lone terrorist and individual weapons led us to a severe failure that impacts the lives of the citizens of the State of Israel."

"The government and the security establishment must change their perception – act decisively against the enemy, dry up its will and the support it receives from the streets to carry out attacks, impose a prolonged curfew on the villages and towns of murderers, reinstate security checkpoints, and flip the situation. No more settling for small accomplishments by corner-cutting, but to cleanse the area and clear the space."
