Head of the Manpower Directorate, Major General Yaniv Asor, visited the "Tel HaShomer" Draft Office yesterday (Sunday) and met with male and female recruits for service in the Border Defense Corps. Additionally, female combat instructors, combat Hummer operators, operational witnesses, enemy simulation personnel, and manpower for various roles in the Medical Corps have been drafted.
During the visit, Major General Asor met with recruits from across the country and discussed with them the significance of meaningful service in the IDF, with an emphasis on combat service. Following that, he toured the recruit area and the soldier's chain in which the recruits go through.
The visit was held with the participation of the head of the planning division and personnel manager, Lt. Col. Shai Tayeb, and the commander of Meitav, Lt. Col. Alon Matzliach.
"Within the army, we speak about unity, shared values, and the unifying factor, which is vast and unparalleled in its capacity to connect and bring together," said Asor. "We are all wearing the same uniform and beret, and you will gradually see that there is a lot in common among us, a sense of unity, love, kindness, and less that separates and differentiates."
