The head of the Binyamin Council, Yisrael Gantz, criticizes the leader of the Labor Party, Merav Michaeli, and left-wing activists who spoke out against Yehiel Indor, who fired at a Palestinian while defending himself from assailants and was severely injured.

"The extreme left's hatred is astonishing," says Gantz. "Even a Jewish person hospitalized in critical condition with a deep head injury does not make them stop for a moment and consider that he likely acted in self-defense to save his life. They automatically offer support to the terror that threatens us every day on the roads, in settlements, and everywhere, murdering our people. No fact on the ground confuses them."

"I request to strengthen all Jewish shepherds who encounter systematic Arab terrorism. Hopefully, the police investigation will not be influenced by the racist campaign attacking the injured resident simply because he is Jewish.

The incident occurred during the last Sabbath when Arab rioters from the village of Burqa began to attack Yehiel Indor, a Jewish shepherd who was tending his flock in an open area near the Arab village. Indor called for help from his friends who arrived to assist him. According to the settlers' claims, dozens of Arab rioters started attacking them with clubs and stones. In response, Indor fired towards one of the rioters, killing him."

Following the incident, the police and IDF arrested Yehiel Indor, who was injured by a rock to the head and is currently hospitalized, and Elisha Yered, a former spokesperson for MK (Member of Knesset) Limor Son Har Melech from the Jewish Power (Otzma Yehudit) party, on suspicion of involvement and obstructing the investigation.

Michaeli wrote on her Twitter account: "It is time to say it loudly and clearly: In Netanyahu's government, there is a party of supporters of terrorists. Supporters of terror. If you want to deport the families of terrorists - you can start with the deportation of the family of the settler terrorist."
