Today (Monday), the Iranian Foreign Ministry responded to reports about the American effort to bring about normalization between Israel and Saudi Arabia, and they warned that this move "could jeopardize the stability of the region." According to the spokesperson of the Iranian Foreign Ministry, Nasir Kna'ani, "we do not see this as in the interest of regional peace and stability."

"For many years, the United States' efforts to normalize relations between Saudi Arabia and the Zionist regime have been at the top of its priorities. The US has committed to fully support the regime, and as part of this, it is making efforts to align the Zionists with several other countries in the region," said Kna'ani. "In practice, this amounts to the open-handedness of the Zionist regime to commit crimes against the Palestinian nation. We have witnessed this primarily in the past six months, during which we have seen the deaths of two hundred Palestinians."

According to the Iranian spokesman, "a compromise with the Zionist regime will not help the Palestinian nation. This issue is not in Iran's interest, and the Islamic Republic will not take any step to recognize that regime. It is not in favor of the Palestinians, nor is it conducive to peace and security in the region."
