A high-tech robotic dog, adorned with the USSS insignia, has been deployed to President-elect Donald Trump's Mar-a-Lago estate in Palm Beach, Florida, marking an unprecedented move in security protocols, according to Newsweek. The deployment follows multiple assassination attempts during this year’s election cycle.

The remote-controlled robotic dog was seen patrolling the grounds on Friday, with the Secret Service confirming on Saturday afternoon that these advanced security assets are now part of the protective detail.

"Safeguarding the President-elect is a top priority," said Anthony Guglielmi, Chief of Communications for the US Secret Service. "While we cannot go into specific capabilities, the robotic dogs are equipped with surveillance technology and a range of advanced sensors to support our operations."

This enhanced security measure comes after Trump’s victory over Vice President Kamala Harris in Tuesday’s presidential election and follows a campaign season that included two separate assassination attempts.
