A new New York Times/Siena poll which just came out (Thursday) shows Donald Trump leading among New York Jews over Kamala Harris, 54-44.

The poll does show that Harris will comfortably win the state 52-40, even while losing Catholics 53-43. She wins Protestants 48-43 and "other" - which includes a wide range of religious affiliation, 67-22.

The poll also found that Jews who were undecided would break 76% for Harris and none for Trump.

Although the Jewish vote will have no effect on the race in New York state, it might have an important and even decisive role in the race in Pennsylvania, a must-win swing state for both candidates.

A new get out the vote initiative called Pennsylvania United, funded to the tune of $250,000, is aimed at mobilizing Orthodox Jews to vote in what is considered a must-win state for both candidates for President, according to the Huffington Post.

Teach Coalition, the umbrella group behind Pennsylvania United, recently released a poll showing remarkably tight numbers for the race in the state - 55% pro-Harris and 43% pro-Trump. National polls are divided on this issue, with some showing support above 30% for Trump and others around 25%.

Doesn't matter in New York. A gap like this might matter in Pennsylvania.
