"I regret we were not more outspoken": Mark Zuckerberg apologizes for censorship on COVID and Hunter Biden

In a letter to Jim Jordan, Chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, the Chairman of Meta expressed regret for bowing to US government and media pressure to censor information Facebook and other platforms.

In a letter sent yesterday (Monday) to Jim Jordan, Chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, the Chairman of Meta expressed regret for bowing to US government and media pressure to censor information Facebook and other platforms regarding COVID-19 and reports regarding Hunter Biden's laptop.

Zuckerberg said that though the company had yeilded to government and media pressure on this and other issues, it has changed its policies to no longer delay information waiting for third party fact-checkers' approval and that "we're ready to push back if something like this happens again."
