A new New York Times/Siena poll released today (Thursday), and conducted entirely after President Biden dropped out of the race, shows Donald Trump narrowly edging out Kamala Harris 48-47 among likely voters.

The poll also showed a very large gender divide between voters, with women preferring Harris 55-41 and men preferring Trump 56-39.

Both candidates get an equal share of support from their party's voters (93%). Harris wins with independents narrowly, 47-45.

When it comes to age brackets, Harris wins those aged 18-29 (59-38) and 30-44 (49-45), while Trump wins those aged 45-64 (51-45) and 65+ (51-46).
